Barista/Cashier/Kitchen Helper
Duties includes making drinks, preparing food and serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer. He/she is also responsible for educating customers about our drinks and Foods. The barista fulfills any other duties the store manager, assistant manager or shift supervisor assigns.Job Responsibilities:
- Greets all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service and develops a rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks and food items.
- Verbally receives and calls back customer orders in a friendly manner.
- Accurately rings sales orders into cash register and counts back change to customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Answers telephone in a courteous and friendly manner including, but not limited to, giving store greeting, directions to store location, and receiving and filling customer orders.
- Sells and serves drinks, hot foods, baked goods and miscellaneous food items to customers.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
- Maintain an understanding of all drink and food offerings, memorize basic tea recipes
- Perform opening and closing procedures for the day and following day
- Proper handling of cash register and P.O.S. system
- Mixing/making drinks following company recipes and guidelines
- Janitorial duties: frequent and daily cleaning of work stations, dining and kitchen area, and bathrooms. Wash and dry dishes, pots and pans, and throw away trash in trash receptacles. Weekly deep cleaning of various equipment.
- Kitchen duties: help prep and cook foods and toppings
- Reports all customer complaints to manager.
- Responds proactively to prevent customer service situations.
- Brewing Tea, Preparing making fresh topping for drinks
- Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor and/or manager
Requirements, Qualifications & Physical Demands:
- Barista or food prep experience is a huge plus
- Strong customer service experience
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail when taking orders and making drinks
- Strong team player and interpersonal skills
- Maintains positive company morale and professional attitude
- Ability to resolve customer service issues in a professional manner
- Integrity and reliability is a must
- Runs errands, when needed, to pick up supplies and/or product
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, holidays, and/or special events
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Required to stand for long periods of time
- Required to lift and/or move items up to 30 pounds
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay Rate: Starts at $15:50/hr, with free drinks and discount on food.
